Journey Borealis returns to Pyramid Hill Sculpture Park & Museum for its 24rd consecutive year. Previously known as Holiday Lights on the Hill, you can experience Journey Borealis from the comfort of your own car as you make your way through scenic holiday displays, over one million lights, and featured independent artist installations.
Journey Borealis attracts families from around the tri-state area and has become a tradition in many households. The Park is excited to continue this tradition, while adding new displays and debuting a new contest, to make this year the best yet. The lights will open to the public November 17, 2023 – December 31, 2023.
Guests will see the return of the fan-favorite expanded route, as well as more lights than ever before and new displays. The Park has partnered with independent artists and our community to bring this show to life, including expanded installations by the Yarn Bombers and two new displays by projection artist Doug Borntreger. There will also be a new, fun contest eagle-eyed guests can enter to win a free membership or membership upgrade!
The Park will be closed to the public on Monday evenings this year to allow for “Walk the Lights” rental opportunities for event sponsors and holiday event rentals. Pyramid Hill is also excited to announce the return of City of Hamilton Nights. Every Tuesday night, admission will be FREE for City of Hamilton residents. Proof of residency is required and defined as 45011 and 45013 zip codes, please bring driver’s license, utility bill, or government issued ID with you to receive the free admission on Tuesdays.
