Jump Zone Florence

The recent cold snap and inevitable weeks ahead of more of that winter may have you putting together a list of every single indoor play place in the Cincinnati area (FYI, if this is you, check out our list HERE). My four and three-year-olds already have major cabin fever (and so does their mom), so we decided to check out a Northern Kentucky destination that has been on my list for a while.

Jump Zone Florence is a large, indoor space that is filled with fun and entertaining inflatables. There are 9 of them, in fact, and it’s safe to say we found our new favorite place to play, exercise, and rid ourselves of that dreaded cabin fever.

Jump Zone is just about 5 minutes from 75/71, right off of KY-18. Its location is ideal for those of us in Northern Kentucky, but really it’s easy to get to for anyone in the Tristate. The play area is set up for ages 2-12 and they have open play times most days of the week. If you visit their website here, you will find their calendar that outlines when you can stop in for play time. They have times set aside for different ages, including times specifically for ages 6 and under.

We’ve been to quite a few play places in the area and I would say this was definitely one of the cleanest and well organized we’ve experienced. There are plenty of tables for parents to sit, free Wifi, and easily accessible restrooms. I was able to sit and get some work done while my kids played — win-win! Safety is a number one priority at Jump Zone, so of course I kept a close eye on my kids and there are also members of the staff who walk around and keep track of how things are going.

If you have kids age 5 and under, there is a special spot for them filled with a smaller bounce house, obstacle course and a variety of interactive toys. One thing to keep in mind is that Jump Zone has a very strict policy that you are not able to bring in outside food or drink, but they do offer many different snacks and drinks and they can even order pizza from Donatos for you. Jump Zone also specializes in birthday parties, so it’s definitely something to consider if you want something different!

We were very impressed with the space, inflatables, and staff at Jump Zone. My kids were already sking – as we were walking out – when we would be returning. Luckily, I signed up for their Club JZ (it’s free!) and received a 2 for 1 play pass for the next time we visit. This is a great way to try out Jump Zone at a great deal! Just head to their website here to sign up, check out play times and deals, and get more information on this Northern Kentucky kid-favorite destination.

A native Cincinnatian, Andrea has experienced life in all four corners of this city. After growing up on the west side, she headed north to attend Miami University, then moved east to Hyde Park and now lives in Northern Kentucky with her family.

When she’s not playing trains and doing the “hot dog dance” as a stay-at-home mom to her two toddlers, Andrea is busy writing for Cincinnati (and, ahem, Kentucky!) publications and brainstorming ideas for her next children’s book! With a newfound passion for fitness and overall health, she spends a lot of time at her family gym and loves to play outside.

Andrea worked in education for several years and has a special love for children’s literature. She loves showing her children all our city has to offer and enjoys sharing her finds with other parents. Her favorite spots include the Cincinnati Zoo (although she steers clear of the bird house), her local library and any playground.
