Puppy Train Brings Bluey and Bingo to LM&M Railroad

Roughly halfway between Cincinnati and Dayton, the Lebanon Mason & Monroe Railroad is running its Puppy Train on August 22, pairing a scenic ride through Warren County with a meet and greet featuring “Bluey and Bingo”. The event is a partnership between the railroad and The Fairy Godmother Events, and tickets include more than just the ride.

Every ticket covers the train trip, a puppy tattoo, balloon twisting, ice cream and time with the puppies afterward, so families are not paying extra for add-ons once they are on site. Departures run at 11 a.m. and 2 p.m.

What’s Included

The ride itself runs one hour and 15 minutes. Puppy tattoos are handed out on the boarding platform before each departure, so riders get that done before finding a seat. Ice cream can be redeemed either before boarding or after the ride, giving families some flexibility if kids are anxious to get on the train first. Balloon twisting happens onboard during the ride itself. The meet and greet with Bluey and Bingo comes last, after the train returns from its run.

Good to Know

Seating on the Puppy Train is not reserved. At check-in, riders are assigned a train car and can choose any open seat within that car. Families or groups who booked separate tickets but want to sit together should call the ticket office at 513-933-8022 ahead of time to request it, rather than assuming it will work itself out at boarding.

Pricing

Two ticket tiers are available. Coach Class runs $20 for children ages 2 to 12 and seniors 62 and over, and $25 for adults 21 and over. Deluxe Class runs $30 for children and seniors in the same age brackets, and $35 for adults ages 13 to 61. Infants under 2 ride as lap riders for $10 in either class.

Families weighing whether Deluxe is worth the upgrade should check the official booking page for what distinguishes the two seating classes, since that detail is not spelled out on the event page itself.
