Playground
The play space at Miami Meadows is large with areas for younger children and big kids. The playground has everything kids love- swings, spinners, multi-tiered climber, climbing wall, slides, monkey bars and interactive music makers for the littles. Parents will love the shaded features over the playground with a picnic shelter steps away. Cool off under the shade trees or pack a lunch and picnic in a nearby shelter.
Pickleball
The newest addition to Miami Meadows Park, pickleball lovers will be thrilled with the brand new courts. Miami Township Recreation offers open play and classes for both children and adults. Check out the parent-child classes offered by the township!
Catch and Release
Miami Meadows Park has two ponds. A smaller pond up front with a Veterans memorial and larger pond in the back, stocked heavily with smaller fish like crappie and catfish. Fishermen and women should have a valid fishing license and bring their own poles/tackle. In the state of Ohio, children under the age of 16 do not need a license. Fishing at Miami Meadows is strictly catch and release.
Ball Fields, Walking Trail and Recreation
The park has several large spaces with baseball diamonds, basketball court, football fields, soccer fields and cricket. While games or practices are not ongoing, visitors are welcome to practice on the open fields. Many utilize the paved walking trails for biking, walking and running as it circles around the entire park.
Dog Park
Don’t leave Fido at home! The Dog Park at Miami Meadows has a section with agility features and a huge open space for pups to run and play. Dogs playing in the dog park should be up-to-date on vaccines and friendly with other dogs.
