What makes your school unique?

BRAND NEW State-of-the-Art Facility opening Spring 2024! Four acre outdoor playscape combined with daily physical education classes make The Campus at Kids First the premier early learning experience. Located onsite the Kids First Sports Center village, The Campus at Kids First offers an extensive physical education opportunity for our young learners, ages infant through PreKindergarten. We are the only early learning center in our area that makes physical education a top priority and translates that movement to brain development that will help your child succeed long term. The Campus gives your child an academic edge through physical education.

What is your school’s age/grade range?

Infant through Pre-Kindergarten

What is your school’s educational philosophy?

Physical movement-based early childhood education that utilizes daily physical education classes and four acres of outdoor play space. Classroom time is in a traditional preschool setting.

What is your enrollment policy? Are there any key dates parents should be aware of?

Ongoing enrollment with waitlists– limited availability in some classrooms.

What are the standard school day hours? Does your school offer flexible day/hour options? Is before/after school care available?

School day hours: 8:30am – 4:00pm
Extended Care available from 7:30am-8:30am and 4:00pm-5:30pm

How many children are in each class? How are children divided up up?

Infants: 8
Toddlers: 12
Early Preschool: 16
Preschool: 20
PreK: 24

What is the teacher/child ratio?

Infants – 1:4
Toddlers – 1:7
Early Preschool – 1:8

What are the teacher’s credentials?

Early Preschool, Preschool and PreK teachers have college degrees. Infant and Toddler teachers have extensive experience working with that age group.

How do teachers communicate with parents? How often do parents receive updates?

A Tadpoles daily report is sent to parents via email each day upon pick up. This report includes photos, a snapshot of the day’s activities and the child’s nap and meal schedule. Additionally, parents drop off and pick up inside the school so there is opportunity for daily communication with parents.

Does your school offer support for students with special needs?

How much time do the children spend outside?

Our BRAND NEW four acre outdoor playscape features natural park-like elements. Children play outside rain or shine, cold or hot! Additionally, with our location onsite the 108,000 square foot Kids First Sports Center, our children have the unique opportunity to play in structured and unstructured physical education space.

Are meals and/or snacks provided?

Yes, breakfast is provided for extended care students. Lunch and snack are provided for all students.

Does my child need to be potty-trained?

Children need to be potty trained for our preschool and prek classrooms. Potty training begins in the early preschool classroom.

What enrichment programs/activities are offered?

Our children have built in physical education classes each day! Students engage in a 30-45 minute basketball, gymnastics, dance and soccer class each week and all of it is included in tuition! Infant and Toddler students have a music class each week and gymnastics class twice per week, again, all included in tuition!
