Putz’s Creamy Whip has been a staple in Cumminsville for 80 years. This simple family-friendly creamy whip opens March 20. Enjoy amazing inexpensive treats such as Blue Ice-Man (half soft serve/half slushie with candy face) or more traditional cones and sundaes. Opening March 18, 2024

Swaffy’s Ice Cream

12 Degrees Italian Ice 

Located in Mainville, 12 Degrees produces Italian Ice daily using the finest ingredients available – filtered water, fresh fruit, purees, extracts and sugar cane. Cream ices produced contain 10% dairy. Check website for hours of operation. Opens February 29, 2024

Walker Bros Ice Cream

Owned by a local couple and named for their 4 sons, this is the perfect place to visit in warmer months. Walker Bros features a walk-up ice cream window in a beyond charming yellow cottage in Downtown Montgomery. Be sure to order your kids soft serves with edible “eyes.” Open daily

Whipty-Do

Famous in Mainville for its blueberry soft serve (think Kings Island), the Whipty-Do is a seasonal creamy whip serving many delicious frozen treats (plus lots of sprinkles). Also, bring your pups to enjoy a doggie sundae topped with a sweet doggie treat. Opens February 7, 2024
