Looking for a fun outdoor adventure the whole family will love? Head to Blacklick Woods Metro Park in Reynoldsburg and check out one of central Ohio’s coolest hidden gems — the Canopy Walk!
Open since 2024, this elevated boardwalk takes you 35 feet above the forest floor, offering amazing views of the trees, wildlife, and a peaceful swamp below. Whether you’re a nature lover, a curious kid, or just need a breath of fresh air, the Canopy Walk at Blacklick Woods is the perfect way to explore the outdoors from a whole new angle.

Families can stroll along the one-eighth mile walkway, climb up to an observation platform, play in the treehouse, cross rope bridges, and even relax in a giant cargo net. It’s also a great spot for birdwatching and enjoying Ohio’s changing seasons from high above the ground.
An elevator makes the Canopy Walk accessible to all, and it’s open daily — 9am–7pm from April through August, and 9am–5pm from September through March — so there’s plenty of time to visit.
