Located in Mason at 4188 Irwin Simpson Road, Kingswood Park sits on 90+ acres of green space. The Deerfield Township Parks and Recreation has focused their time on the township’s signature park with enhancements like a pollinator garden, community garden, swings, walking trail, playground and teen/adult fitness obstacle course.
While the kids are steps away on the geocentric play space, get your workout in on the brand new agility fitness course!
The Kid Side
Sitting on top of astro-turf, the kid playground is newer with multilevel structures for bigger kids and a separate space for younger children. Kids can climb high on cargo nets, ropes, ladder steps, monkey bars and an extra wide slide. The toddler space has the same features but on a lower level to keep the little ones safe.
The Adult Side
The Kingswood Park entrance opens up to the new teen/adult agility course. For bigger kids who have grown out of the playground space, the fitness course gets your heart beating with an impressive amount of agility stations. Fitcore Extreme structures include the Unstable Bridge, Spiderwalk, Quintuple Steps, Globe Grasp and more. Each station comes with a short instruction to properly use the equipment.
The green space at Kingswood Park is the highlight for the township as they’ve maintained the majority of the acreage for the community to enjoy. What started as an upgrade to the community garden area turned into a brand new activity center to host summer camps and classes, bench-style swings, a pollinator garden along the walking trail in partnership with the Cincinnati Nature Center and the new playground + agility fitness course.
