The Acres has taken a beautiful botanical mural—designed by TommyINK and brought to life by RickerdART—and added a modern twist with state-of-the-art projection mapping. Every night, from 6:30 PM to 9:00 PM until March 8, digital animations dance across the mural, turning it into a living canvas. The blend of light, movement and sound creates a stunning visual story that evolves before your eyes.
Meet the Artists Behind the Magic
The creative force behind this project is the talented duo Mason Thompson and Nate Wilkens from BLINK. Nate, a local with roots in Evendale, and Mason, based in Los Angeles, have joined forces to add a new dimension to this already captivating mural. Their work, which builds on their previous project at BLINK 2024, brings an extra layer of wonder by seamlessly blending digital art with the natural beauty of the mural.
“This installation is about bringing art to unexpected places and making it accessible to everyone,” says Mason Thompson. With that spirit in mind, they’ve created an experience that not only delights but also invites you to pause and appreciate the art and nature around you.

Led by investor Todd Gailar, The Acres has become a favorite destination, known for its Lighted Forest Walk and other creative events that inspire and connect people.
