My Furry Valentine is the tri-state’s largest Pet Adoption Event. Brought to you this year by our sponsors phoDOGrapher, Give Them Ten, Petco Love and the Cincinnati Reds, My Furry Valentine will be held at Spooky Nook Sports Champion Mill in Hamilton, OH, Saturday, January 25th and Sunday, January 26th.
This year’s event will feature hundreds of adoptable dogs, cats, puppies and kittens from dozens of different animal shelters and rescue groups from around the Tri-state. Adoptable animals are gathered at a centralized location under one roof to make it easier to find your perfect match! My Furry Valentine is a family-friendly event with dozens of vendors to shop, and Raffle Prize drawings every hour.
Every animal adopted from our Main Event will go home with swag bag full of goodies for pets and their people, and adopters can enter to win one of our Adopter Raffle Baskets. As a courtesy to the adoptable animals already on site as well as for the safety and well-being of our guests, owned pets are not allowed at the event.
Please join us and help support the mission of “Adopt Don’t Shop.” Each year, over 6 million dogs and cats enter shelters nationwide, and 1 million of them don’t make it out alive. Nearly 2,500* animals die in shelters every single day – but it doesn’t have to be that way. Statistics reveal that there are approximately 10 times* as many people who will bring an animal into their home every year as there are animals being killed in our nation’s shelters. But because many people choose options other than adoption, our shelters are still overpopulated and animals are dying, even though there are more than enough families looking for a new pet.
If more of them would choose to adopt a pet, instead of buying one from a pet store, breeder or online, we could significantly reduce the number of animals losing their lives in our nation’s animal shelters.
