Great Parks is celebrating the great outdoors with Free Entry Days!
Guests can experience more than 17,700 acres of natural habitat, nearly 80 miles of trails, lakes and river access, playgrounds, dog parks, golf courses and much more without the need for a Great Parks Motor Vehicle Permit.
2025 Community Days are:
- Monday, Feb. 17 – Random Acts of Kindness Day
- Tuesday, April 22 – Earth Day
- Saturday, May 17 – Kids to Parks Day
- Saturday, June 7 – National Trails Day
- Thursday, June 19 – Juneteenth
- Thursday, July 17 – GPHC Birthday
- Saturday, Sept. 27 – National Public Lands Day
- Tuesday, Nov. 11 – Veterans Day
- Friday, Nov. 28 – Opt Outside Day

A valid Motor Vehicle Permit is required to enter the parks on non-free days. Cost for residents of Hamilton County: $10 annual/$5 daily; other visitors: $16 annual/$8 daily. Otto Armleder Memorial Park and Fernbank Park are cooperative ventures with the City of Cincinnati; a Motor Vehicle Permit is not required. A Motor Vehicle Permit is not required at Great Parks Nature Center at The Summit.
