Coshocton Hot Air Balloon Festival
Dates: June 4-6, 2026
Location: Coschocton Fairgrounds, 707 Kenilworth Ave, Coschocton

This FREE family event has been a favorite for visitors for almost 30 years. The event features several days of balloons coming and going, a midway with rides for the kids along with the traditional fair food, and special live musical entertainment. Spectators come from all over the state to enjoy watching 20 or more balloons taking off, landing and the popular “night glow”.
Ashland Balloon Fest

MidFirst Ohio Challenge
Dates: July 17-18, 2026
Location: Smith Park, 2301 Windekind Drive, Middletown
Price: $5 ages 13+
Plane show and rides, tethered balloon rides, firework show, car show, night balloon show and hot air balloons. The Ohio Challenge brings vendors from all around the country. Get some food from one of our many different food vendors, other vendors will be selling various items from authentic native american goods to balloon merchandise. Children will never run out of fun with our wide variety of carnival rides that can also intrigue the adults that are kids at heart!
Defiance County Hot Air Balloon Festival

We are happy to announce that the balloons will fly at the Defiance County Airport on August 1, 2026! Flights are scheduled for Saturday morning and evening with an encore glow event at the end of the night.
Flag City Balloon Fest

Ravenna Balloon A-Fair
Dates: September 24-27, 2026
Location: Sunbeau Valley Farm, 3229 OH-59, Ravenna
Price: $5 ages 13+
This multi-day festival in Downtown Ravenna and the Portage County Fairgrounds runs September 24–27 and is packed with family-friendly fun. It kicks off Thursday with a children’s parade, followed by a full evening Friday featuring live music, food vendors, and a hot air balloon night glow. Saturday includes a grand parade, downtown festival with entertainment and kids’ activities, plus fairground events like a Jeep show, balloon lift-offs, and rides. The weekend wraps up Sunday with live music, a car show, and another hot air balloon lift-off. Throughout the event, guests can enjoy attractions like helicopter rides, inflatables, petting zoos, games, and more.
