Activity Center Park
221 N. Main St., Centerville
The park includes an all-access playground area with wide ramps, large swings, belt swings, infant swings and benches that sway. Children of all abilities can play side by side on the play equipment. The sprayground is a zero-depth splash pad with fun features that spray and dump water.
Forest Field Park
2100 E. Centerville Station Rd., Dayton
Forest Field Park is an arboretum as well as a community park. The Park District has planted 14 varieties of evergreens and 41 species of deciduous trees around the park. The play equipment in the park was updated in 2018 and includes a natural play area adjacent to the traditional playground.
Iron Horse Park
6161 Millshire Dr. Washington Township
The playground at Iron Horse Park has its own ‘Old Ironsides’ in honor of the Dayton-Cincinnati Railroad that ran through this area. The park has baseball diamonds and soccer fields. Visitors will see 8 varieties of maples, 10 varieties of oaks, and 9 varieties of evergreens.
Millstone Creek Park
745 N Spring Rd Westerville
Located just outside of Columbus, this playground is worth the 1 hour drive. A mix of natural, traditional and futuristic elements make this playground truly one-of-a-kind. One side contains a colorful playground built on a rubberized surface. There are interactive, electronic games, musical instruments, and tons of spinning, slide-able and climbable structures. The other side is inspired by nature, with plants, slides, a stream, water pump and sandy area all mixed together.
Orchardly Park

This was designed with a state-of-the-art accessible playground designed by children for children, a splash pad, a full basketball court, two tennis courts, a picnic shelter and greenspace, all tucked into 1.9 acres!

Victory Park – Owen’s Place
2260 Dayton Xenia Road, Beavercreek
Owen’s Place is dedicated to increasing universally designed, recreational opportunities for individuals of ALL abilities in the Miami Valley. The project features distinct areas focusing on developmental opportunities. These will include, but are not limited to: an area in support of motor skills, a hand zone for fine motor development and a sensory garden.
Virgallito Park
2593 Lantz Rd., Dayton, OH
It features a softball diamond, plenty of parking, a playground, a picnic shelter and numerous trails through the woods. There is a bike trail access from Cold Springs Road. The playground was designed to be more accessible than other city playgrounds, and features a number of unique amenities for kids to play with.
