This just in: Union Terminal will be closed October 22 – November 1.
As Union Terminal approaches the final weeks of its historic restoration, the entire building will close October 22 through November 1 to finalize all building systems and prepare for its future use.
The Duke Energy Children’s Museum, Chocolate: The Exhibition and GUITAR: The Instrument That Rocked The World will reopen to the public on November 2.
Mark your calendars: November 17 is the anticipated public opening of Union Terminal’s grand Rotunda, historic spaces, Holiday Junction featuring the Duke Energy Holiday Trains and the first phase of new permanent galleries: the Museum of Natural History & Science’s Dinosaur Hall and Cincinnati History Museum’s Public Landing!
As a reminder, Mission Aerospace is open through Sept. 9.
Union Terminal is nearing the completion of the first full structural restoration in its 85-year history. The two-and-a-half year, $224 million restoration will preserve the legacy of the National Historic Landmark and secure the future of Cincinnati Museum Center housed within.
