Challenge Course
Designed for ages 13+ but fun for children 7+, the challenge course at the front of the park features several agility stations to climb, crawl and run through. Ninja steps, traverse wall, u-turn ramp, floating boards, sway steps, agility trainer, up & over, corridor and vault wall provide a fun workout and challenge.
Playgrounds
Throughout the 95 acre park, there are 3 separate playgrounds within walking distance of each other. Each playground features something a little different but is great for younger children. The multi-level climbers are conveniently set around the lake and nearby the ball fields.
Landen Lake
Landen Lake is bustling with wildlife like birds, turtles and fish. A walk around the lake will take you over a bridge that crosses the lake to the other side. From the bank, watch large carp swim right up while turtles sunbathe in the sun. Around the lake are several benches to stop and sit or enjoy covered picnic tables for a family gathering. Fishing is welcome but only for catch and release.
Trails
The bike trail at Landen Deerfield Park is considered moderately challenging with 2.3 miles of wooded trails. The loop is popular for biking, walking and running. Dogs are welcome if leashed. At times, the trail can get a little wet with two creek crossings but that’s part of the fun!
