South Lebanon’s Veterans Memorial Park recently received a face lift with bright colors, a handicap-friendly play area, swing set, toddler climber, music makers and a multilevel climber recommended for ages 5-12.
Veterans Memorial Park is located across from the municipal building near 10 N High St, South Lebanon, Ohio 45065.
Pack a lunch and stay for a while, the playground has a covered pavilion with plenty of picnic tables to share. The front half of the playground is handicap-friendly directly off the pavilion seating with a Brava universal swing and two spinners.
The mostly mulch playground has shade sails over the large climbers to help cool off the kids and equipment. Kids will have a blast running from the music makers, up the climbers, down the racing slides, and through the spinners before a quick push on the swing.
The park is open dusk to dawn but does not currently have a restroom on site. However, the South Lebanon Municipal Building is just steps away for emergency potty breaks.
